Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, property location, project description, photos, drawings, correspondence and technical information needed to respond or deliver agreed work. If you choose to answer the optional enquiry question, we also collect how you first heard about us. The website may record essential security, consent and analytics information.
Why we use it
We use information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, plan and deliver work, understand which discovery channels are useful, keep appropriate business records, protect the website and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing and retention
Information may be shared with service providers or project professionals where necessary, under appropriate safeguards. We keep records only for as long as reasonably required for enquiries, contracts, taxation, legal obligations and aftercare.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where the relevant UK data-protection law applies. Contact Info@ajonescontractors.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Page-navigation previews
The aj_navigation_v1 session-storage entry keeps up to eight recent page addresses, titles and public page previews in this tab so mobile back and forward gestures can reveal the destination. It does not contain enquiry answers, calculator inputs or saved briefs, and is not uploaded. It lasts for the browser tab session and can be removed by clearing this site’s browser data. Browsers may restore session data when restoring tabs. Normal links still work if this storage is unavailable.
Optional saved project brief
If you press Save on this device in the mobile project studio, the generated brief is stored only in that browser for up to 30 days. It is not sent to A Jones. Open Plan to read, copy or delete it. Anyone with access to the same browser may be able to read it. The quotation comparer and site-access checker do not upload their answers or automatically save them.
Enquiry attribution and outcomes
When you submit the form, the project type, postcode, timing and any optional indicative budget help us assess the work and respond. With your optional measurement permission, campaign tags and advertising click identifiers may also accompany the enquiry. We do not send your name, email, phone number, message, property postcode or project budget to Google through our conversion events.
An administrator-only outcome register stores a random enquiry reference, date, project category, outcome and consented attribution for up to 90 days. It does not duplicate your contact details or message. Staff may mark an enquiry as qualified or won after assessing the project. Outcomes are not automatically uploaded to Google. Enquiry correspondence is retained separately as described above. You can withdraw future optional measurement through Measurement cookie settings.
