Concrete Slabs & Bases
We install concrete slabs, shed bases, garage bases, workshop floors, oversites and reinforced concrete pads for domestic and commercial projects. Each base is set out to the right size, level and thickness, with excavation, compacted stone, formwork and reinforcement specified around the intended load.

Bases for real use
A garden room base, garage base or workshop slab needs the right preparation below the concrete. We excavate, compact stone, install membranes where needed and form the slab neatly before pouring.
Reinforced concrete where required
For heavier loads, structural bases or commercial areas, we install mesh reinforcement, thicker slab depths, edge thickenings or engineered details to match the design requirement.
Linked with wider groundworks
Concrete bases often connect with drainage, paths, patios, retaining walls or building foundations. We can deliver the base as a standalone job or as part of a larger groundwork package.

Useful Details
How thick should a concrete base be?
It depends on use. Light garden buildings may need a different slab from a garage or workshop. We specify depth and reinforcement around load, ground and finish.
Can you remove the old base first?
Yes. We can break out and remove failed concrete before preparing and pouring a new base.
