01

The site challenge

The steel members had to be moved and positioned within a live domestic construction site while keeping the temporary works and surrounding masonry coordinated.

02

Our approach

The installation route and lifting method were planned around the site access. Temporary support, bearing details and the sequence of masonry and structural connections were checked before the frame was enclosed.

03

The outcome

The steelwork formed the designed opening and load path, allowing the extension structure and internal space to progress to the next stage.
